Arundel Community Hub & Womens Residential Care

Single mums can certainly do it tough and the support of the local community can make a huge difference in overcoming obstacles and moving toward a better life. We are able to offer accommodation, support and training through our two accommodation houses and community hub.

The Craft Family House (in memory of Michael Craft Senior) provides much-needed housing for homeless women either pregnant or with small children. The residents of this purpose- built home also receive support in the form of training programs including access to the on-site The Incredible Years parenting course.

In addition, we provide a training centre which has additional facilities to host a variety of SAILS programs for at-risk children, youth and families including disability groups.

This has been made possible by the generosity of a number of corporate sponsors including Newhaven Funerals, Coral Homes, Dulux, Bunnings and the Gold Coast City Council.
